Great news for fans of the Tales series of games by Bandai Namco! The latest installment into the series, Tales of ARISE, has reached over 3 million sales, and the “Beyond the Dawn” DLC goes on sale for the first time since its release!
Bandai Namco recently announced that sales of Tales of ARISE has exceeded 3 million copies, and from February 20, it will be included in the Game Catalog service for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers as well as on Game Pass (Console, PC, and Cloud).

Tales of ARISE, which originally released on September 9, 2021 as part of the franchise’s 25th Anniversary, is an action-based role playing game with distinctive characters. The narrative revolves around the protagonists, Alphen and Shionne, who bear the responsibility of determining the fate of two conflicting planets.
Other titles in the franchise that are also available on PlayStation Plus via the Classics Catalog (premium plan) include Tales of Zestria, Tales of Symphonia, and Tales of Vesperia.
Lastly, the hefty “Beyond the Dawn” expansion DLC which is set a year after the events of the main story is currently on sale for the first time with a 25% discount on the PlayStation Store / Microsoft Store for 2,970 yen, whereas the Steam version has a 34% discount for a total of 2,613 yen. Be sure to check the details on the sales page since there may be other price levels depending on the various subscription plans.

From short-range to long-range, and adaptable positions, Nazamil employs a diverse array of strategies. The key technique, known as “Luke Ops Col,” is unveiled prior to the secret move. This technique involves lowering the sword of light to unleash waves of darkness. Notably, it boasts a swift casting time, enabling attacks on the surrounding area. Upon transformation into a secret technique, it evolves into a potent wide-ranging assault.
This video introduces Kisara’s back mirror mounting technique. Before unveiling the secret move, she employs the “Ishika Attack” to strike from the stone fire and sweep opponents away. The charging secret technique, when unleashed, grants invincibility during the mid-charge and delivers a powerful blow. This feature makes it ideal for initiating collaborative efforts.
This video presents an introduction to Dohalim’s back mirror technique. Prior to revealing the secret move, Dohalim employs “Kapshonem,” deploying a ground trap and executing a backward jump. Upon contact with the trap, a rock spear emerges to attack the enemy. The charged secret technique derivative transforms into a move that not only targets enemies in a confined area but also gradually restores the HP of allies.

A new short story that connects the main game with the new Beyond the Dawn expansion will be available to read for free on the Tales Channel+ from Friday, November 3rd. Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the new Tales of ARISE “Beyond the Dawn” DLC expansion. The DLC continues the story where it leaves off at the end of the game, focusing on the appearance of a new mysterious character, Nazamil. Along with the trailer, a new key visual was released depicting all the characters together. The DLC is set to drop on November 9, 2023.
